Founder Charlotte (Kim) Lee’s passion for mobilizing young people to give back started in college, when she mobilized hundreds of college students to volunteer through a service day across 12 universities. In business school, she shifted to mobilizing her peers to give back financially.

Gen Gen Club began as a social venture supported by a Stanford Impact Design Immersion Fellowship grant. Through research, experimentation, and conversations, a clear gap emerged: many young professionals want to give, but feel overwhelmed, unsure who to trust, or disconnected from their impact.

Gen Gen Club was built to help people give well by removing decision fatigue, thoughtfully curating nonprofits, and making generosity a practice that’s personal, sustainable, and formative, especially early in one’s career.
